There are many ways to say how much we love and appreciate him for all his hardwork and dedication to our family. We love him so dearly and unconditionally. MY CREATION

This is a long overdue layout that I should have posted last month when my son celebrated his 3rd birthday. These are his birthday pictures taken on May 20th. I promised to treat him in a monster truck at an arcade that day but thought we'd pass by a photo studio for some birthday pictures first. He was not very happy about it so it was hard to get him to smile, though he did all the poses the photographer asked him to do. The photo still turned out great despite the hesitant smiles ;-).

MY CREATION

On May 20th, my little tot celebrated his 3rd birthday. Instead of throwing him the usual birthday party, we decided to just have a family get-away in Maine the weekend following his birthday. But of course his special day didn't just go by without any treat. I took him to the mall for a birthday photo shoot; rode the carousel and other arcade rides; visited a pet shop and played in the mall play area. And the highlight of his day was the blowing of candles on his birthday cake. He waited patiently for dada to arrive from work with a birthday cake and 3 balloons. He enjoyed blowing candles on his "happy birthday cake" as what he called it. He requested that I lit the candles again and again so he could blow some more.

A Tearless Haircut

My little tot used to be scared getting a haircut. Actually I guess it's not the haircut per se that's he's scared of, it's the fact of being restrained to a chair with a stranger holding him. But he's more relaxed and can tolerate the clippers now.

This only represents probably a tenth of my tot's toys. He has basically invaded the family room and on a typical day, you can find toys in every nook and cranny of the room. I just love watching him play 'pretend' with his toys.
